Age. Know-How. Responsibility. Time to rethink what age really means.

The Ageing with Tech Festival hosted by the Körber Foundation brought together diverse voices and perspectives to explore the role of technology in aging. In his talk, Robert Eysoldt connected learning, responsibility, and change into a call to rethink age.

Learning is always on

In his talk, Robert brought together learning, responsibility, and change in a call to rethink age. He began with the story of his mother Vera, who received her first computer from him at sixty and today moves with ease through social media and even uses AI. A vivid reminder that learning never stops — and that it takes people who challenge, support, and encourage us along the way.

Generations Are a Myth

From there, he moved to the big questions: What does age really mean? Why are generational labels a myth? And why is age diversity such a crucial factor for the future in organizations and in society at large?

Change starts in your head

His message: Curiosity, readiness to learn and openness matter more than any birthdate. Age diversity becomes a source of strength when we change our language, our attitude and our perspective. Toward others and toward ourselves.
