Age Forward Lab – The nature of moving forward

After inspiring Labs in Graz and Berlin, the Age Forward Lab returns on November 27 for its next edition. It’s a curated space for people from different fields, life stages, and backgrounds who are ready to rethink age and aging.
What makes the Lab special
The Age Forward Lab is not a lecture event or a traditional conference. It’s an experience space fueled by the knowledge, mindset, and curiosity of its participants. The themes emerge from what moves, challenges, and inspires people.
Everyone takes an active part — with questions, ideas, perspectives, and a willingness to engage with whatever unfolds in the room. Robert Eysoldt, founder of Age Bombs, adds further impulses, provides context, and weaves everything into a coherent whole. The result is a day that inspires, resonates, and encourages a fresh perspective on age, society, and the future.
Why now is the right time
We are living longer, more diverse, and more complex lives than ever before. Reaching one hundred years is no longer an exception. By 2050, the number of people over sixty will have doubled worldwide. At the same time, more and more people remain active, creative, and socially engaged long after their professional careers have ended.
But the stories we tell about age, work, and belonging no longer fit the times. We need new narratives, new models, and new ways of being and working together.
The Age Forward Lab creates space for exactly these questions. How do we want to live, work, and support each other in the future? And what does it take to make an age-inclusive way of living and working the norm? It’s a place to learn from one another, share perspectives, and think forward together.

What happens in the Lab
The Lab weaves together perspectives from work, society, culture, design, technology, and the living environments we shape every day. The specific topics that make it onto the agenda emerge from what participants bring to the table. These impulses are refined and curated in advance, creating a day that unfolds like a living mosaic of ideas, experiences, and insights.
Each Lab is unique because every group is different. What connects them is the openness to explore what becomes possible when diverse generations, disciplines, and life experiences come together in conversation.
How the day is structured
The Age Forward Lab begins around 10:00 a.m. and concludes with a shared dinner. Partial participation isn’t possible, as the Lab is designed as a continuous and connected experience. The program will be held in German.
Your investment
Participation is 190 euros (net) and includes all listed services.
This gives you access to a full day of exchange, new perspectives, and inspiring encounters — all within a carefully curated setting designed for depth, connection, and personal relevance.
How to join
The Lab is a curated space. It welcomes professionals working in this field as well as anyone eager to rethink age and aging and contribute fresh perspectives.
The Lab is open to all ages from 18 to 80+. Only when many perspectives are in the room can we truly rethink age and aging—and have a real conversation about how we want to live together in the future.
If you would like to join, please email hello@agebombs.com and share why you’d like to join and what perspective you bring.
How the Lab is curated
The group is curated to bring together diverse viewpoints, experiences, and life realities. The aim is a balanced mix that makes diversity truly tangible. After you reach out, Robert Eysoldt will reach out to you to explore how your perspective fits the Lab.
The Age Forward Lab will once again take place at launchlabs Berlin.
A big thank-you to all partners who help make this possible.
